This is one of my all time favorite songs, I used to sing it to myself when I felt I couldn't go on, back in the day...

My father loved this song. When I was about 16 I play this album over and over. I would tell my Dad, listen to this voice, it is amazing. He loved this song. He died a few years later at the age of 44. Him her this makes me feel good. He loved it and when I listen to it I think about him. He was not the greatest father but he was my father. I am part of him.

Your friend maybe knew him from when he played with Jimmy Martin And The Sunny Mountain Boys. My ex-husband knew him from the Record store he managed in Memphis.

I used to sing in lounges in Memphis in the mid 70's and this was on the set list...but I had sung it many times before that in my den at home with two baby girls under foot. Today, I came on YouTube to see if I could find it to share with a Ladies Bible Study chapter on Depression. This song saved my life many times during the 40 years in the desert.
