  • You are one awesome Lady! I've never been thru chemo, but had many friends that did, and guess what? They are ALL ALIVE! I watched your video of the beautiful purple scarf! You are truly awesome.... and so brave. Blessings to you. I hope you have many, many healthy years ahead of you!!!

  • @robingreen09 thank you dear. your timing is perfect - i needed a lift today and you are a super cheerleader! for the record, i recently cleared my five year anniversary and am doing great! keep shining your light --- k.

  • I am sitting at my desk at work with tears in my eyes after watching your video(s)!! Me and my 4 siblings are shaving my mom's head tomorrow, and like you, she's always had long beautiful hair! It is going to be very difficult for everyone involved, especially my mom, but I'm going to show her your video before we do it for inspiration and support! You rock!!! I hope you are doing well, you are an amazing woman!!!!! :)

  • @courtnykay4 dearest courtnykay - yes, there will be tears and its wrong to try to make light of something painful - (my friends did that when i had my initial shave and it really upset me) - but know that you and your mother are going to gain great insights and blessings through this experience as a family. love each other without restraint, laugh every day, find the joy in each moment. i will be thinking of you all tomorrow - much love, k.

  • Hi there. Just found your videos. My mom and I have been racking our brains trying to figure out how to tie scarves to hide her rapidly approaching baldness due to chemo. You rock and I can't thank you enough! Just wanted to say thank you thank you thank you for being you and thinking of us to do what you did.

  • @jomoorehead you are very very welcome and thank you for your kindness. tell your mom to go as glam / wild / crazy / plainjane, ( ie. whatever makes her feel good), as she wants. one of the few benefits of being on chemo is that no one is going to be mean to a bald person! :) much love to you both --- k.

  • I love the look! You look great! Thanks for the tips. I am going to have my very own access TV spot in my town beginning in March 2011 called "Impact". Would you be willing to send me this video w/all your credits so I can put it on our access TV cable station. I have been just dx w/breast cancer and I am now doing Chemo. I had hair to my waist and it is all gone now. I don't feel good about all this new stuff that is happening to me but I know I am not alone

  • AWESOME! What inspiration and strength! God bless you!

  • @proudmamaofusmarine dear proudmama, nothing makes me happier than knowing that someone has heard what i so desperately wanted to share. i do care. it doesn't matter to me that i've never met you. i wish you only the best. much love, k.
