Hundreds of people gathered outside the federal building in Newark to show their support for Mohammad Qatanani, imam of the Islamic Center of Passaic County in Paterson. The imam faces charges that he failed to disclose his 1993 conviction by Israeli authorities when he applied for permanent U.S. residency three years later.

Without a doubt nothing happens unless Allah (swt) wells, and in that I, certainly, believe. My dear Muslim brother! We don't really know what is best for Shiekh Qatanani and only Allah Knows. I pray Allah to decide what is best for the Shiekh in both: this life and the next. Aameen. That said. I won't say inshAllah he wins the case, but I would, rather, say InshAllah that whatever the outcome is, for it to be the best for the Shiekh and the Muslim community at large.
