A: the process would cost more than a real gun

Being a Former LEO I can tell you that MANY OF THE NEW Cops ARE NOT passing the PHYC EVAL.

The new people are so Fracked up they LET THEM PASS when they fail THE TEST.

As for the ATF the Recruit AND HIRE Cops that HAVE BEEN FIRED for being a thug and stupid.

THEY LOOK FOR FIRED COPS to hire them for THE ATF.

thats just really stupid.. hell, the day after the christmas day attempted bombing in 2009, i was able to bring a GBB USP.45 gun with full H&K trades and no orange tip into the US through luggage without a problem.. they scanned the bag at Hong Kong (airsoft is popular in Hong Kong so they were able to tell its a toy immidiately), and we flew to San Francisco for a connecting flight. theyre supposed to scan arriving bags, but they didnt. got to LAX, didnt scan it there either cuz its domestic.
