Generally speaking, one should never use metal utensils on non-stick surfaces. Unless, of course, they want to buy new waffle makers. However, if the waffle maker is made of cast iron (as many that we sell are), you can use metal utensils on them all day long. The moral of the story? If you insist on using metal utensils, get a cast iron waffle maker.

These's Waffles look so yummy!! I need my waffle maker back from my mom I want to make some waffles now I haven't had waffles for a long time now!!'
this dumb lady doesn't know that you should NEVER use metal utensils on non-stick surfaces. like a waffle iron, or a pancake griddle. scratch that surface at all and you will never have good waffles again... they will stick to the iron.
