This uses a sound file played on the computer to change the intensity of the laptop's screen brightness and keyboard backlighting intensity. Note that this is not the iTunes visualizer plugin, but rather a patch made in Max/MSP. It can respond to input from external devices and Core Audio, plus whatever gestural thingies you have handy...

  • I used Max/MSP and an object that can send parameters to the backlighting and screen. I think you can download something called iSpazz that will do basically the same thing.
