@johnwest19992 Looks like it.

It's just occurred to me - the flags look a little similar to the old Capital 7 logo...don't you reckon?

no bleep noise? or arent all channels like that?

Remember, this was only a few years after Ten sold Capital, ADS-10 and NEW-10 to Charles Curran, around the time Sydney/Melbourne (probably Brisbane as well) were sold to Steve Cosser, before 10's recievership in 1990.
This resulted in a "split" Ten Network, similar to today's 9-Win split, which has Perth and Adelaide owned by Win, while the three east coast capital city stations are owned by PBL.
Ten Capital was eventually sold to Southern Cross Broadcasting sometime in the mid 90's.

Well fair enough. Any business needs to cut costs where they can

The reason why there was no anthem or any formal closedown was that this was a regional relay of the Canberra signal. Within Canberra the station was 24 hours but the regional relays were closed down at around midnight to cut costs, hence the lack of an anthem or a formal closedown.
