That Swami Sri Yukteswar in his Holy Science makes no reference to 2012 is what is currently puzzling me.

Kali Yuga ended September 1699, and since then we have been in the ascending phase of the Dwapara Yuga. I still don't understand the significance of 2012 with respect to Vedic literature.

@happyuk06 Sri Yukteswar's Holy Science was simply defining the cycles or kalpas within the time signatures of the yugas, in order to show the connection between our celestial positioning and consciousness evolution. He also corrected and addressed the question regarding the length of Kali Yuga. This is just a portion of the cosmic lore.

There are cycles within cycles, yugas within yugas of such immense and minute scale that its nearly incomprehensible how they mark destined events.

@pritpalc There has been numerous discoveries of statues of the god Ganesh among the Mayan ruins and some shivlings as well. These artifacts come from ancient India. If you Google it, the data comes up.
