From the epilogue of "Trials and Tribulations"...
IRIS: "It was so sweet of you and everyone else to come and visit me here the other day. Of course I was happy that you constantly had your eyes on me, but... ...I felt kind of bad when the little one slapped you so hard you got a nose bleed."
This isn't slapping, I know...but close enough.
NOTE: This video is not necessarily intended to advocate Feenris shipping... just Pearl's violent adorableness.

This is a parody of some obscure meme from Nico Nico Douga that I found too cute to pass up. xD It seriously needs to become more popular on YouTube.
I was introduced to it through this adorable Professor Layton version: http://youtube.com/watch?v=SU8M9nvxEpA
Also, this Touhou version that I borrowed a bit from: http://youtube.com/watch?v=qXOFjM4rzsU
I'm pretty sure this one was the meme-starter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amjeMRlrk34 (though originally posted on Nico Nico).
According to the credits on the above, the artist traced the animation sequence from the OP of an anime called "Seitokai Yakuindomo." Here's that OP, and you can see the original punching at 0:46: http://say-move.org/comeplay.php?comeid=80564
The title pattern for videos in the meme is "[character name]がポカポカしてるだけ" which is literally something like "[character] is just hitting" or "[character] does nothing but hit" (ポカポカ/POKAPOKA being the sound effect for beating against something/someone)... which is of course a very concise and honest explanation of what goes on in the video. xD
Unfortunately, I couldn't find any English translations for the song... The first part is like "Hit with the right hand! Hit with the left hand!" and then, uh... (S-sorry, I don't feel like reliving my pathetic attempts to translate something from scratch like the "Bokujou Monogatari" fandub. That was hard. I need to get better at Japanese soon...)
You can see the Japanese lyrics here: http://dic.nicovideo.jp/v/sm8476837
This concludes your unofficial know-your-meme presentation for the day. Now ya know!

I almost thought instead about having a teenaged Pearls beat HoboNick after finding out he has a daughter...but, nah.
...And then halfway through making this video I thought... ARGH! What it really should have been was Apollo hitting HoboNick, with the words "Take that!" streaming across the background. (Darn it. Darn it all. I hate being left unsatisfied with myself. ;~; I think I can manage to restrain myself from doing it, though. I think this turned out cute and appropriate enough. And there are way too many possibilities to do them all, anyway. Thinking about it now, young Franziska on Edgeworth might've worked too.)
Oh, speaking of the text, the text streaming across the background of this video replaces "ポカポカ" with "イギアリ" = "IGI ARI" = "OBJECTION!" In katakana because the original is in katakana... (and because kanji is hard...)
I was actually planning to sing the final chorus, while marking the sudden switch to English with a change of the background text to the English "objection." But I ultimately thought it would be cuter to let the simple little story be told without any words. The lyrics weren't much, anyway; they would've been something like:
"Don't you betray your SPECIAL SOMEONE!
Don't you forget your SPECIAL SOMEONE!
Don't you remember MYSTIC MAYA?
Come on, Mr. Nick!"

This parody is partially traced. I sketched it out and scanned like I usually do -- but then I, like, traced over a layer of the sketch and a layer of the original video at the same time. Weird method, but I think it worked out for the most part. ^^;
Paint.NET and Windows Movie Maker, as always.

I don't own the original music, characters, or ideas.

Daaang, your animation has improved so much. 0_0
*reads description* DON'T YOU DARE DENY IT, RAYOFHOPE, BUT THE END HINTED TO FEENRIS! IT TOTALLY DID! D:<
*cough* Fangirl moment over now. But the ship could very still be, at the very least, one-sided on Iris's part.
*shuts up* Anyway, this thing is just so adorable! If only little Pearl knew what happened in Nick's college years...
