Purple dress: worn by Mary Boleyn in season 1
gold dress: worn by Jane Seymour in season 3 and Queen Claude in 1
Blue/green dress: worn by Queen Claude in season 1
Blue dress: It looks like something Anne Boleyn wore but I can't recall it tbh

I can't believe how much debate there is over this picture.

Does anybody else find it odd that in the picture all the first four women have necklaces on, but the fifth one doesn't? Mhm thats seems strange to me, but no idea what it could mean. This video is basically just a dispute about who thinks who is who. I honestly just think they are random women, as there would be six if it was his wives.. and that would make more sense. And plus its season one, before the other four queens were in it.

@PureLightHealer Exactly! The women behind him without heads are his dead wives from Catherine of Aragon to Katherine Howard. That's why Katherine Parr is not represented, because she survived him, though very narrowly, because before his death he was already consulting his lawyers on how to get rid of her.

"Obsession can change the world" And there's no doubt about it.

I just like how they're all headless.
What that implies, I leave to you XD

@Jormungandr0 Personally I just think they're supposed to be random women because in Season 1 he was such a womanizer. And to explain the dresses: well they must be expensive to make so maybe they just recycled them later to be used by the actresses who portrayed his queens. Not to mention this is a season 1 poster so there's no need to show Jane or Anne of Cleves or Katherine Howard yet
-
@ilovesoulfood1993 ah but he peacefully divorced her so he could keep the treaty with germany
-
@Jormungandr0 But Anne of Cleves outlived him too

Jane Seymour is the first one, in the orange dress. I would recognize it - and her - anywhere... and Anne's the fifth.
I like how the queens show eachother some kind of... I don't know, friendship? They are touching eachother, almost holding hands. This is the first time I have seen all of his queens (apart from Catherine Parr) together in some kind of affinity.
R.I.P All Good Women Who Died Under Henry VIII

@BollywoodLoverGirl I think it's all the wives that died in his lifetime. Which would explain how Kate isn't there.
its none of his wives .. otherwise they would have six women behind him.
