12 inch Infinity Kappa Subwoofers

Here is my updated setup. Two twelve inch Infinity 122.7 subwoofers, two 6 1/2 Infinity Kappa speakers, two 6x9 Infinity Kappas all three way. The system sounds good but is more for sound quality than SPL. The system sounds great but I wish it was a bit louder I guess. All in all I like it. I am using an Infinity 7541a for the components, and an Infinity 1211a mono amp running at 1200rms 2ohms for the subs. I am using a 1.7 Farad cap and and optima yellow top battery. I still get dimming though? Maybe the cap is junk or isnt big enough? Anyway, comments, sugestions? Also, the sub enclosures are sealed. If you run these subs sealed you need at least 1200W RMS or more. I am running that between the two of mine an they do not even get warm. Songs are by Lil John, Throw it up and What U Gonna Do?

Bro Sell me ur Infinity Reference 1211a ive been looking all over the place for it. jk.. Hope u don't get it rid of it. That amp is powerful, its welling to push 4 12's CVRS . sadly my system, got stolen. let me know if u trying to get rid of it. It is a rare AMP.

if the yellow top battery in your car is the only battery you have your gonna have dimming, but if you get another battery it'll solve your dimming problem. or you could try upgrading your big 3. and caps aren't reliable, you'd be better off w/ a big 3 upgrade plus an extra batter

You suggest mounting a battery in the trunk and use a battery isolator? I was looking at a different alternator but am not sure if it is worth it? I feel your right about the extra battery.

Alright now, you got your system bumpin - now let's clean up this install a little bit. not bad for an entry level stereo. If you face your woofers backward towards the tailgate - you will gain SPL. Keep doin' what you love, and fuck the rest
