For the geometry she was always showing the same sign even if she said circle, square or whatever the dog just knew he had to touch a circle for example on the backside of the sheet why didnt u just lay the cards on the ground ?

@gvillota92 Actually, that is just an urban myth. My own dog knows the colours of all her tennis balls.

Some dogs are very good at reading the body language of humans, little signs and triggers that you don't even know you do. Some dogs can see from your body language which one you think is right. The perfect way to test if dogs really know shapes and colours is to use a computer display.

agrees with samwham, stop hating, the fact that this owner loves her pet and has put in the time to cue him , and show him attention and love is what is so amazing. Plus he is adoreable! and by the way if you watch ALL the videos you won't figure out her cues. She good. As far as the haters, Where is your dog? on a chain in your backyard?

This is THE dumbest video I have ever seen. Dogs don't understand what you say, they understand your tone of voice and the difference in sounds that are associated with different words. All he is doing is recognizing the sounds of a word that she is pairing with a picture. He then gets rewarded for choosing the right picture and won't get rewarded if he is wrong. Ever heard of Pavlov's dog?
