Yeah but from what I've heard many times was that Michael Anthony was officially out of the band after the 04 Tour ended. I even read that Eddie didn't want to do an 04 with Mikey and Sammy insisted or he said forget it! The only reason there was an 07/08 tour was because of Wolfgang from what Eddie has been quoted as saying. He picked the set list for the entire show.

I'd be shocked if Halen recorded a new album with Roth but I'd be intrigued as hell to hear it also!!

Actually Ed did let Michael Anthony know he was no longer in Van Halen by Making Anthony sign out of the band after the 04 Tour. I was bummed Mikey wasn't a part of the 07/08 Tour too but I sure ass hell didn't miss his boring ass live bass solos man!

i didnt catch it but i didnt like the sound of dave i just dont think he sounds good anymore like he used 2. and yea wolfgang can get better of course i just didnt like how eddie booted mike out without even lettin him no. i like the dave music im just a die hard sammy fan 4 life.

Did you catch the 07/08 tour with Roth? I did in Los Angeles and I thought they sounded great man! Much better than the 04 Trainwreck tour with Sam! Ed was indeed a sloppy drunk mess on that tour. Yeah I'll agree with ya on the Wolfgang thing but hell he's only 17 and will get better as time goes on. I hear he can play drums, bass and guitar. The kid is a natural...he's definitely got the Halen bloodline flowing strong in him!
