Amazing winter day, low light makes some nice shots. Notice the longggggg shadows ;-) I used my old tripod as a home made steadycam device and it came out pretty good. If you are interested I will show what I did. Those small camcorders are very sensitive to vibrations and walking normally usually will produce some jumping effect. This device helps a lot. Nice shots also from being so close the the ground. I like the snow getting up in the sun behind my dog, like sparkling stars. Hope you enjoy this video.

  • what type of tripod and camcoder did u used in this video?

  • @selamatpagicikgu Kodak Playsport pocket camcorder was used on an old Slik 88N tripod. I was holding the array by one unscrewed leg. It is big and quite heavy.

  • Interesting. I like the sparkling stars effect. I use a monopod with my camera for the same reason - steadiness. You have even a smoother effect even when running.

  • @doghaven1 The smaller the camcorder the harder it is to be stable. I would like to add another link to it so I can control the vertical motion of the cam, now I have to do this by holding the tips of the legs. If I want the cam real low I cannot reach. This thing looks strange, almost like some alien weapon. I know that seeing someone running around holdint it I would be puzzled by what is going on. lolll
