  • @MrElkobill A bit harsh on Mick there! Explain what you mean by grown men playing like children? So Abbey Road was childs play and thats why John dissolved the Beatles! Wasnt it John acting like a teenager in love breaking his own rule not to bring women to the studio? The joke as you refer to should be a how to book on how to survive a rock band marriage. Mick would make another grown up multi million dollar figure while you sit back looking old and criticize how ridiculous he is!

  • I love those performances where everybody plays at the same time, on the same stage, but completely different parts. It's such a mess, but it's so much fun.

  • i love tht bob dylan was jammin out doing his thing.. ya

  • paul schaffer..asshole

  • my Grandma hated the Beatles with a passion when they first made the scene..... and rock n roll in general actually as most parents did then. who would have ever thought that rock n roll would be so legit now? and of course how could you possibly have a rock n roll hall of fame without the Beatles in it? lolz

    I <3 the Beatles ^_^

  • Mick still has the teenager rmentality. He never has grown up and become a real man. John Lennon disolved the Beatles because It became too much of a joke for grown men to play like children. Wrinkled old Mick hasn't got the maturity to move on to another chapter in his life. His pal Keith has been brain-dead for many years. Simply too stupid to realize what a laugh (joke) they appear to those of us that grew up in the 60's.

  • @gotham61 thanks for the education. I did not know. Learn somethin new every day. Like Joni Mitchell wrote and Stills wailed on 'Woodstock'-"Life is for Learning".

  • @falcon6136 It's simply due to the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame rules. You are only eligible after there has been 25 years since your first record was released. Love Me Do came out in October 1962, This induction was in January 1988, 25 years and 3 months after their first record.

  • @firmly6 Yes- The Beatles were not the first. The first rock n roll song of all time was by Hank Williams Sr, "Move it on Over." And before that, you can look at the great Black Mississippi blues players, like Robert Johnson. My thoughts were that the Beatles just had no peers. No group ever came close, nor ever will. But no group could ever match the song writing ability of the Beatles, and their vocals were great. But their incredible creativity is what strikes me most fascinating.

  • @falcon6136 As George said in his speech, they weren't the first ones to play Rock & Roll. Without legends like Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, etc. there may not have been any Beatles. I think the Hall of Fame did the right thing in honoring the originators of Rock & Roll before they inducted equally influential and innovative bands of the 60's.
