A few people have asked how the parateepee is setup so I decided to cover the setup and take down in this video. I've also included some info about wood stove usage in a teepee. Hope you enjoy.

  • are you like at a camp ground?

  • @runescape44411 I was stealth camping on land that doesn't allow camping.

  • maaaaan.... how came i didn't find your channel sooner?!?

  • @bushcraftmyway At least you're here now. Thanks for the encouraging words.

  • I bet that if you raise your bed off the floor it will make a difference in temperature. I think if you make the chimnee longer (so it'll stick out of the teepee) and perhaps wider as well, it will not smoke as much (if you shut the stove door). Nice video, thanks!

  • @boomtao All solid suggestions. Thanks.

  • sweet coat. what kind is it?

  • Hint... don't be afraid to punch a hole in that para.

Buy a piece of silica cloth and secure it to the hole.

Cut a slit in the silica cloth and place that pipe outside the tent.

  • Why do you make the top opening so small? If it was about 6 inches wider, wouldn't you vent better? The heat from the stove would keep rain out.

  • I keep finding myself watching your videos, so I'll just subscribe now.

  • close your door to make smoke vent up

  • nice stofe you got teir

  • @ViciousRanger : You said it! Take care of your feet and your feet will take care of you :O)

  • Brother great videos. I like the idea a lot. The native Americans didn't bring there outside layer to the ground, raised about six inches. Then on inside had a border cloth that ran entire circumference about three feet up on the inside and it went to the ground. Served two purposes, insulation and it caused a draft that took that smoke that is eating you up all the way out the top. Keep up the great work. ~Apachespyder

  • definately not an idea for an emergency situation. Takes some planning and a wagon to tote that stove and parachute in. Also in that configuration with the hole in the top if it rains you're swimming

  • Stealth camping! FTW!
