Raley's Strike Officially Over,
Union Health Care Plan Preserved


Sisters and brothers, I am pleased to inform you that our strike at Raley's has officially ended.

Because of your Solidarity and strength, we were able to address competitive challenges while also retaining and funding the Union health care plan for both active members and retirees.

For those who walked the line, on behalf of our entire membership and all of California's working families, I thank you with every fiber of my being. Your sacrifice, courage and principles will be long remembered in the history of California's labor movement.

For those of you who did not, I urge you to express your appreciation to those who fought your battle for you.

There is a time to fight and there is a time to unite. Now is the time for all of us to come together and get back to work serving the customers who supported our cause.
