  • cop: so do you have any enemies, anyone that has a motive, anybody that knows you stash thousands of dollars in bullion under your mattress?

    "uuhhhh"

  • @levelninetroll What kind of moron would stash all this under a mattress? I put it on display next to my front window!

  • Great video,

where would you say is the best play to buy pre 1920/1947 British coins?

  • @whenthestormbrakes Well it used to be ebay, but things have changed now. People have twigged what a good deal it was.

Last year when I made this vid, I was buying pre 47 stuff at an average of £6.80/oz (40% under spot), I looked yesterday and it was going for £12-13 (10% under).

You *might* be able to strike a deal with a local antiques dealer to buy at a set percentage under spot whenever they get hold of some. It's the type of thing to sometimes pop up in house clearance auctions, etc.

  • I threw up in my mouth when you poured that junk silver on top of the Soveriens.

  • @truerange I should mention that no coins were significantly harmed during the making of this video. They either have zero numismatic value to begin with, or are in plastic cases.

Besides, the sovereigns went on last.

  • oh man. youve got a chunk load of coins. how about giving me one?? haha

  • My precious!

  • question!

should i cash my IRA and invest it all in precious metals? There is no point in holding that money in the IRA cause dollar will collapse and I will lose all my years worked.

i rather cash it and i will make more than all the taxes and penalized money the feds take from me?

  • Rythm2007 depending on what coins you want to buy i suggest getting a type of "red book" from your library. Also just do sone generic searches online and read what other collectors have to say. As for buying, apmex is a good place for bullion and pawn shops are a good place to get discounted silver or collectable coins. Ebay is nice too but you need to do your research before you buy from online.

  • @pgm98387 gold silver ratio means nothing, remember historic ratios are not a parameter anymore.in past times there was not a comparable consumption of silver as we have today.that is why silver ratio with gold will be 1:1 in the coming years

  • I HAVE A NICE HOLE IN THE BACK YARD YOU CAN STORE THAT IN
