Hey, if you wanna win an arguement with a liberal/progressive in a debate, just use the FACTS! Look earlier in the comment stream for a simple victory over delusional big government progressives!

@GoVikes0 But... Obama personally assured us that the stimulus bill had NO PORK in it whatsoever! Who's lying here?

This is a big business sponsored group who wants to retake control of the government so they can continue the rape of the American middle class. I am hoping most people of both parties realize the enemy is not the government but the people who control those in government. That is achieved by lobbyist who buys elections for their puppets. We have a great government. We have to outlaw the lobbyist who buys the politicians.Who are the idiots here? That would be us.

@shirleyfleischman Lies? Based on what? Have you bothered looking at the figures, or are you just basing your opinion on what letter is next to someone's name?

Newton's Third Law is sometimes summarized as "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction". Economics is characterized as "the dismal science".
What might the "equal and opposite reaction" be to wasting $787 billion dollars in tax money?
-
it is too bad that the republicans waste just as much money as the democrats

What a crock of lies. . .
@gohindha89
So you want tolerance?
Then people must be tolerant of each other; mutual respect.
Otherwise, there can be no tolerance, forcing people to take sides and defend what they hold dear ... and I wouldn't be able to blame them for that.
And that's why I say that tolerance is a virtue, so long as others are as willing to be tolerant of you as you are of them.
Ironically, you made my point with your response to me as well as your response to another showing hostility to republicans.

The problem isn't million-dollar pork barrel projects. It's the whole thing. All $800 billion.
It makes for a great punchline at a presidential debate, but it has about as much substance as one of Obama's speeches.
