Rare, from 1967. Nice cover of Simon & Garfunkel's hit from the previous year.

  • I've looked for this song for over 45 years, full version. It was the song I remember waking up to my last few days of Senior High in 1967. Thanks for posting it.

  • @Cav89 Glad you like it...thanks for stopping by :)

  • Kane Cornes on lead vocals or what?

  • My Gran loved this song...she'd have been 62 in '67. Not only would she let us turn the volume up on the car radio when it came on, she sung along with it as she new the lyrics. Admittedly, this ain't exactly the Stones or The Greatful Dead, but for a lady who's musical taste at the time was Lawrence Welk and Ray Coniff, I've wondered if she was experimenting with her "diet pills". Anyway, very happy memories of that hot summer and of my Gran who's been gone 30 years, and we STILL miss her.

  • I love this song.My son who is 14 likes Simon and Garfunkel too

  • This song always made me feel happy :) Love the cover Chris, first time hearing it.. and its great! Thanks for another rare gem, and a new one to my ears :)
