@utavonnaumburg1 Actually, this is cover version. This song was originally written by Buffy Saint-Marie in 1964. And in my opinion her version is much better, more energic. This version is like sleepy song. No taste, no smell, no energy.

In my opinion "The universal Soldier" is the most impressive anti-war-song I've heard so far! Thank you Donovan...I'm a great fan for more than 40 years now...

As the Good Book says it will all end with war--at Armageddon! It's right: evil men have waxed worse and worse as predicted. Read the comments below regarding Jewish people. Right on as the Bible says as has happened through history. The nations would all come against them then God would destroy them. That's why I am A Christian Zionist. In fact there are far more of US Christian Zionists than there are Jewish ones. Look how Britain and America have gone to the dogs turning against Israel.

@floresebu That's the scientific (evolutionary) evidence, alright. Imagine a toddler to whom you give a gun. We are still the same creature that was out hunting in the open fields for a hundred thousand years - but we're suddenly handling environment-killing chemicals and nuclear weapons. And doubling in population size every few years. Not exactly promising.

The evil exists in the Likud party Jewish extremists who control puppets like Newt Gingrich, Barack Obama, Rick Santorum and Mitt Romney. Ron Paul is the first candidate since Bobby Kennedy who stood up to the Likud Jews. I hope Ron runs as a third party and wins.
