Eminem Shows Hometown to '60 Minutes' Viewers

"Eminem took Anderson Cooper and the ""60 Minutes"" crew on a tour of the Detroit neighborhood where he grew up.

He also revealed that he never wanted to reconnect with his father, who left when Eminem was a child.

""If my kids move to the edge of the earth, I'd find them,"" the rapper said. ""No doubt in my mind. No money, no nothing. If I had nothing, I'd find my kids. So, there's no excuse.""

The interview also included Eminem's thoughts on parenting: he doesn't curse at home because he wants to be a good influence for his three daughters.

Eminem, whose legal name is Marshall Mathers, has won nine Grammys and an Oscar.

Mathers says that he loves the rush of being onstage, in front of thousands of fans.

""An artist can say that they get used to it but I think that they're probably lying if they do,"" he said. "" 'Cause you gotta be wowed, you gotta be taken back by seeing this many people and their faces."""
