  • I feel sorry for the person who had the first hangover. They must have thought they were genuinely dying, i normally do. And imagine the first person to regret making a move on someone purely because of the drink they'd just ingested. I salute those pioneers!

  • Gift of God ahh!!!...sweet!!!...

  • @mre2u2 Perhaps that theory would have worked for the discovery of alcohol. This is a documentary on the invention of beer not the discovery of alcohol.

    Cheers!

  • We owe a lot to beer. If it wasn't for beer a lot of us wouldn't be here and if it wasn't for beer those of us who are here, life would be very, very much different. Even if you don't drink beer you can appreciate the good it has done for civilization. So, here's to beer in all it's glory. It doesn't matter what your favorite beer style is or your favorite brewer. Let's all celebrate, raise our glasses and be thankful for what this little beverage has done for us, society and mankind. Cheers!

  • Prost!

  • Cheers!

  • I don't buy it. More likely, someone ate some fermented berries or other fruit and discovered alcohol.

  • go to any alcoholic ward in any hospital and interview a few of the once social drinkers that one day just started drinking on a regular basis. Not necessarily guzzling every night. It takes years for it to take its toll and then years to recover from it if you catch it in time. If you don't you become what is called a wet brain which for all intensive purposes is brain dead. Its the sneakiest drug on the market-if your a teatoteler you probably don't have to worry- its the wild college days
