sorry but to me emo is just a rip off of the beat nick generation of the '60s/'70s. thats my opinion and im stickin to it. and emos are a bunch of whiney little bitches that have everything in the world but still bitch and moan about life. grow up and get over yourselves

ok to sum up emo music this is my definition emo music is either love or hate of a relationship break up with no way back examples: deftones : house of flies or greenday : wake me up when September ends phil collins : against all odds is not emo cause it uses the words a chance i got to take where as gary moores empty rooms is they maybe other examples being in a abusive relationship but still love ya partner pretending that you dont want to get back with someone when ya do ECT ECT ECT

I'm depressed. I wear tight, dark pants and shirts. I have black hair that swishes over my face. And the funny thing is, I really hate the word "emo". I don't hate life, i just sometimes have trouble getting past problems. I love my family and friends. I would never think of leaving them. It bothers me how people make themselves hate the world or self-harm, just to have the label of "emo". I don't like labels. Everyone is different.

nobodies "emo" no more, im pretty sure that word is dead in the water, in fact the people who still use it are dipshits anyway, it doesnt bother anybody anymore, and it sure n hell shouldnt offened anybody, but if i was to say nigger now thats a whole different story

Yay for emo people! Loves them. Lol. I feel if I say I'm emo, then people will call me fake or a poser. But I don't care what they think. I know what I am.
