Flamenco guitar - Peteneras (El Café de Chinitas)

Peteneras is a 12 beat flamenco form with the same compas (counting) as Bulerias. This particular Peteneras, El Café de Chinitas, is a traditional flamenco theme which became part of the collection that was harmonised and made famous by the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca.

Ignore the mournful expression on my face. That's normal for me first thing in the morning. But on this morning I was suffering from a rotten cold and felt like shit. I should have stayed in bed. I also breathe like Dath Vadar but you can't hear that on the video. In any case, Peteneras is supposed to be mournful and funeral-like so that will have to do for an excuse.

Actually, I don't think it's the compas of bulerias; it's the compas of the siguiriyas, alternating 3/4 6/8 rhythm.
