Here are two intros that I created using an old character-generator and an industrial switcher that I had access to, way way back in 1979. The "VCO" on the graphic refers to the "Video Collectors of Ohio," an unofficial group that I began in the late 70s, a collection of video collectors like myself, that did a lot of dubbing and trading in the early days of home video. I would dub this intro onto the beginning of tapes that I made for other people.

  • Very neat!

  • I recognize the tunes, which I have in my CD collection. The first is "Baroque Hoedown" by Perrey & Kingsley. The other is the ending of "Jupiter, The Bringer of Jolity" composed by Gustav Holst. It must've been fun to have such things for dubbing and trading videos.
