  • "It would be better if they released a "Collectors' Edition" with all 5 games on it for PS3."

  • @josan2964 Well you could argue that last part sucks but it's basically what the Mother series does. Granted, you cannot even lose, so it's more like a bonus for coming so far.

I can understand not liking the departure, because I used to sound just like you, but seriously if you didn't enjoy the game then it just wasn't your cup of tea. After 2 hours i noticed it was the most unique RPG ive ever played in my life.

It succeeded in TRUELY making your character feel like a god, but actually forced you to use your power wisely. No move spamming or anything, just pure strategy to survive.

  • @josan2964

Capcom said long ago that DQ wasn't canon to the others. Thats why it wasn't called BOF5. Besides, none of the BOF games were canon anyway. If you had to continuously run from enemies, then you probably just sucked. The game encouraged you to choose your fights and use your power wisely, something no other game really does.

And uh, yeah it is just your opinion, because the game got pretty good ratings.

You still never answered whether you actually played the game before.

  • @RemiusTheAwesome The only correlation between Dragon quarter and BOF 4 is the sound system and bing noises in selection screens. The game is just a bunch of running away from enemies like a bitch, and shooting a laser at a dragon to win the game. The game fucking sucks, and that's not just my opinion.

  • @josan2964

FYI, the graphics were actually very highly recieved for their time.

"Not even a recgonized combat system"? Have you ever even PLAYED Dragon Quarter? I used to say the same thing you're saying because it looked nothing like BOF3/4, which are like my fav RPGs aside from FF6/7.

But then i actually gave the game a chance. Once you do, you'll see it's one of the most unique and special RPGs we've gotten in a while.

It's not like the old BOF games, but it DEFINITELY has the feel.

  • @RemiusTheAwesome How dare you even say that. There wasn't even a recognized combat system in that game. The graphics were somewhere stuck in limbo, and all the characters looked like shit. Fucking terrible game.

  • @josan2964

Uh, no it definitely didn't. It wasn't as long or in-depth as the others, but it was a damn great game.

  • @Moonseid It isn't on Europe PSN :( *Breaks down into tears*

  • For those that don't know, this game is in the Playstation Network. While I might have preferred BoF III, this is a great RPG to have on the go since I'm usually away from home often.
