I heard it once when it came out and would have forgotten it completely if I hadn't heard Strawberry's Anthology CD several years ago. 1968 Uni 45.

This is a lot more low key than "Incense and Peppermints" but still good. Very mellow sound and nice, imaginative imagery in the lyrics.

First heard this one when I got my first phonograph in '72. My uncles and aunts gave me a huge box of singles that had done their time from the previous decade, and this was one of my faves.

I wonder if this song was in somebody's head in the group War. I can hear this in some of their music...

I bought this record in the summer of 1968 and still have it.....Funny to listen to again!!!!!! LOL
