I heard it once when it came out and would have forgotten it completely if I hadn't heard Strawberry's Anthology CD several years ago. 1968 Uni 45.

  • This is a lot more low key than "Incense and Peppermints" but still good. Very mellow sound and nice, imaginative imagery in the lyrics.

  • it sounds better on here than it does on an MP3

  • First heard this one when I got my first phonograph in '72. My uncles and aunts gave me a huge box of singles that had done their time from the previous decade, and this was one of my faves.

  • I wonder if this song was in somebody's head in the group War. I can hear this in some of their music...

  • I bought this record in the summer of 1968 and still have it.....Funny to listen to again!!!!!! LOL

  • Great song!I have this 45-played it a lot!

  • Ed King was in this band, later a member of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

  • Cool lamp and setup.
