In an effort to help lower the gay bashing our children receive, my kids wanted to talk about this matter publicly. The interview took place a few months ago, and many discussions later ... we are finally uploading it.

Our children are incredibly strong and brave for wanting to put themselves "Out there". I ask you to spread this video everywhere you can, in an effort to educate those who are still don't understand why we need equality now.

I encourage you to make video response about his topic. We need not only the open support of the LGBT community, but we need our straight advocates as well to help our community. Thank you for all that you do.

I'm a lesbian and I don't think I'm any more intellectually evolved than a straight person. I have many straight friends, I'm out to them and I know they do have "a clue" (as you put it). How can you be so sure that homosexual love is based on "bits"? Have you actually gone around and asked "You're a lesbian. Do you love your girlfriend just 'cos she as a...?"? I'm pretty sure you or anyone else wouldn't ask that so go find some hard facts before making assumptions like that.

I thank you for raising such great children. I've raised my own the same way. God doesnt judge who are they to judge. Its amazing how they still respect others. Its crazy how children could be more understanding than adults are. Thats just simply disgusting to me.

It makes me sad that my first thought was - how brave they are. I wish for them, for my child, for all of us that such things could be ordinary, accepted and not the landmines they are.
