  • I use mainly the Apple Garageband Synths..they sound really good to me. I downloaded the popular Crystal Soft Synth too..I hardly use it though. Propellerhead Reason synths are modular too..I think. I don't think kids these days would even know what to do with something like this. I bet it sounds great though...

  • For what it's worth Carlos played Switched On Bach on a relatively custom Moog Modular system. One major non-stock feature was touch sensitivity. The confusion lies in the album cover photo shoot used CBS's stock System IIIp as a prop, not Carlos' actual system. It is telling that no one at the Moogfest seen in the video played the Arturia software (though it had been out at least a year). I do commend Arturia for adding sensible improvements to version 2.
