Altezza RS200 Accelerates

1st 2nd and 3rd gear acceleration in an Altezza RS200 6MT.The trunk is full of luggage (85kg) and 5 person (approx 315kg) in the car during the shooting.Aircon is on full blast.Car is fitted with HKS Super Header type 2 extractor and HKS muffler.

if you are still checking your comments - i am looking at getting one of these later this year, and was wondering what it was like as a daily drive, and if you had any major problems with yours

@MrAusdrifter Daily drive is just like any other normal family car,no problem so far,everything works great,only a few wear and tear parts need replacement like brake pads and belts,other than that...none...not bad for a 12years old car...

If you want a Performance Japanese Car that is non turbo (for insurance) around the year 2000 mark, then the choices are roughly - Altezza RS200 (210hp), Skyline R34 GT 2.5L (190hp), Nissan Silvia NA - 160hp, and various Honda's. They are all roughly the same price (between 14k 20k New Zealand Dollars).Out of the bunch, I think the RS200 was the best which is why I bought it. Rebadged Lexus with a good engine and handling. Not too boy racy either :->

I just noticed that in this video, the rev counter and the speedo are on different sides compared to other Altezza dashboards - is this common?

your gsr is turbo so don't compere to normally aspirated 2.0!
