The tesco van did not break the highway code as he was not overtakeing.

The only thing i dont get is why he stoped like that due to the fact that shutter to unload the non chilled/frozzen goods are on the left so he would be unloading in to the traffic.

iv done that to but on roads with lttel to no traffic not a busy road like that.

@simonion88 because I used to work for Tesco Dot Com I always wave to Tesco drivers. I now work for Sainsbury's Online. We dont get many Ocado vans our way, the only Waitrose is in Wellington and our store doesnt deliver out that way. Ive noticed the same, Tesco drivers wave, as do the Asda ones but the Iceland ones dont. Obviously I cant comment on Ocado :P

This is pretty pathetic, posting a video of a Tesco driver doing a delivery. We`re all doing the same job at the end of the day. You don`t see DHL vans taking videos of City Link. I suggest you keep ure eyes on the road, not very safe having a clipboard on the dash either

Having watched this again there is no fault with the tesco driver, 3 occasions when you can cross a solid white line 1) when overtaking parked vehicles, 2 when overtaking a push bike travelling less than 10 mph 3 when turning right.

Iceland drivers never wave.

Sainsburys drivers occasionally wave.

Asda drivers usually wave.

Ocado drivers almost always wave!

Everyone feel free to post their findings upon who and who doesn't wave, whatever supermarché you work for!

That's an interesting point to make. I'm a Waitrose delivery driver, and wave to every other delivery van from any supermarket. Most of them wave back, but I find the most ignorant supermarket delivery drivers are ... The Iceland drivers. They NEVER wave back.
