This piece was one I adapted from an old Irish blessing:

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

  • I thought this was an interesting visual interpretation of the blessing. It gave me goosebumps.

  • the ending of the song can either be may god hold u in the palm of his hand or may u live well in the heart of ur home untill we meet again

  • its may the rain fall softy on your feet ....

  • i feel doomed instead of blessed...

  • the visual scenes fit nearly perfect - and obviously gave some space for adaptation. Clouds coming to you (when the wind is at your back) and the fade out to black (perhaps when the fingers close above the palm).

I like it but I believe that it's not for everybody

  • I know a different version that we sing at the Bacaloriet Mass at school.

"May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind be always with you.

May the sun shine warm you always.

    Till we meet again."

  • Why any one wouldn't like this I have no idea. This is fine display of Celtic spirit here. Truly.

  • until we meet again; i miss you :'(

  • Ops evry 1say this is scary...I dnt watch this...
