I think this was used on the song"Runaway" by Del Shannon. The Traveling Wilburys also did a cover of that song and used this instrument.

@ihop28 Ooops, my mistake. The melotron was used on "Strawberry Fields". The Clavoline was used on Baby You're a Rich Man", and the other two Beatles songs mentioned below.

I think Del Shannon used a modified Clavioline called a Muistron -or something. The Clavioline as it is stock, just never sounds like what Del Shannon had on record. Cheers though.
