Screw you, Michael Moore you lying shill! America is only PARTIALLY capitalist. Capitalism is NOT what is causing the problem. Our gov't has been sold to CORPORATIONS. Corporations own and RUN our gov't which is the DEFINITION of FASCISM! For example, the pharma companies give huge amounts of $ to the FDA & the FDA protects Big Pharma's interests & keeps out competition! Insurance companies also own our govt & they run business to protect their interests causing health care prices to skyrocket!

@ceruleana1 I really dont have any respect for Michael Moore. I used to really like him, but when I saw Alex Jones' 9/11 Martial Law: Rise Of the Police State. He asked Moore "why dont you talk about the NORAD stand down on 9/11? Why dont you talk about the real issues surrounding the cover up?" Michael Moore said: "That would be un-american." After seeing him sit in a Resturant after he ahd the public kicked out, flying around in a private jet and doing fake photo Op's. Fuck him.

Sold out to corporations? Our government created corporations through state charters. Fascism, as I see it, is the in direct state to the means to production. Abolish the state, and that's the solution.

Well socialism is the economic system by definition. Now you can have a democratic socialist system on a council socialism system or a "dictatorship of the proletariet" and such.

You can also have totalitarian stalinism or beurocracy (spelling?).

Anyway I don't mind owning things indirectly through my representative. I wouldn't mind private enterprise to much neither if it wasn't for the constant unification of corporations which hurts competition and just creates private monopoly.

The people don't control all of the power under socialism. The govt takes the people's money through taxes and uses it to supposedly provide social programs. Giving the government sole control over entire systems within a country such as health care always leads to disaster bec. it puts TOO MUCH POWER IN THE HANDS OF THE FEW. In Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto, he states that socialism is a stepping stone to acheiving COMMUNISM!
