Barefoot Gen 2 Part 1

Three years after the Hiroshima bombing, Gen and his adopted brother, Ryuta, befriend a group of orphans. A fierce typhoon hits the city, leaving the orphans' home flooded and beyond repair. Gen helps them build a new home on an abandoned piece of property, and brings love and encouragement to one of the children whose face has been badly scarred by radiation. Gen's mother, though, has only four more months to live...

@KingsIsleTv we already have... remember Pearl Harbor??... you ignorant fuck.... no one wanted this bombing to happen... it was a terrible, senseless, pointless loss of life.... but so was Pearl harbor, and what they were doing to the innocent chinese and korean civillains.... none of it was right... but if we would have invaded, (witch was what was going to happen if we didnt bomb) ALLOOTT more japanese, and americans would have died then the ones lost in the bombing... STOP THE HATE ON USA

@wendyspwnsu Yes. The Japanese had their own version of the German "Volkssturm" or people's army, but in a much bigger scale. Just about every japanese civilian would have been fighting with bamboo pikes, stones and other ancient weapons against a large american force. That could have easily meant half a million dead american soldiers and perhaps millions of dead japanese, most of which civilians. What's more, the russians might have had time to invade and bring their filthy communism to Japan.

@wendyspwnsu you know what Pearl Harbor was a military target not civilian target and when you have a such a mass distruction weapon you first warn your enemy. But i think that Truman wanted to show off his new toy.

@wendyspwnsu it is diferent to attack a militar base than attack a city full of civillian ( including women and children) I always say if pearl harbor was like a punch in the face hiroshima was like a bullet in the head
