You can say that it is a Jeff Lynne solo album. But what about all of the other ones (exept no answer) Jeff's solo albums.

The fact is of that Jeff did this as elo not as a solo album.

If it says ELO on the cover and all songs written and produced by Jeff Lynne then thats ELO enough for me! ZOOM is a great album! What do you want people??

this is another great gem from jeff. why people slagg off Zoom just astounds me. Jeff moved on and ZOOM was an album for 2000s, jeff lynne or elo. I think we all have lost out on great music from jeff cause of people want the old elo from the 70s. people and time moves on, its that simple.jeff must have some great music not released as he lives for recording, we will never see such a talent again.

just ordered "zoom" off ebay. this now completes my elo album collection on digitially remastered cd. stupidly i sold all my vinyl albums and singles. i never tire of hearing this great great music

Hey Loco how are you doing ? Long time no see. I see you posted my favorite song from Zoom. Too bad they haven't released "Long Black Road" yet, which I think is the best one on that album.

@ELOSHAZZY how could he never be happy with his work, he's the master...when im in the studio and doing vocal tracks for example, im thinking to myself *what would Jeff do?* and im also thinking *how does he sing so perfectly with all those harmonies etc? He's amazing, i guess thats why he's so good, cuz he's so critical of himself. Thanks for the info!

@codern I think he is delayed it till next year ........... Jeff is never happy with his work ...it may be years before it's finished. Jeff produced some of Joe Walsh's song for his new album that was delayed to the end of 2012 .........

i love jeff lynne and elo, i definatly hear some ELO reminscence, but it does have a different feel for sure. All in all, i love them both equally as much, i'll always have a special place in my heart for them both <3
