In certain roles I think Roberto might be a too "noble" a dancer... not so expressive emotionally in a convincing way. A Carmen I love is that of Lucia Lacarra and Massimo Murru, I think they both have such amazing body language for the smallest most subtle things even, those two are two of my favourite dancers. I think Roberto is a nice dancer but Massimo is infinitely more interesting. It´s a shame it´s so hard to find any info at all on Massimo though!
ROBERTO IS SOOOOOOOOOOOO BORING. AS A MATTER OF FACT I THINK I HAVE NEVER SEEN A STAR DANCER (BECAUSE HE IS IT ON PAPER!) BEING SOO
NOT INTERPRETATIVE.....YOU CERTAINLY HAVE DIFFERENTLY TEMPERAMENTED ETOILES...BUT HONESTLY NOBODY WITH THAT DEGREE OF FAME IS AS "EMPTY" AS ROBERTO......
but my understanding is Plisetskaya danced a totally different version, it was the Alberto Alonso's one. And for that I need to tell you Alicia Alonso was the master, try to find it.
the best carmen since plisetskaya everyone has to now that carmen was inspired in the airy bravura of plisetskaya and definitely ferri is an excellent carmen wonder why ferri didnt dance don quixote maybe she was a lyrical dancer but i think she would have made an excellent kitri not with the bravura of plisetskaya or osipova but it would have been amaziing to watch the stunning ferri as a extrovertid young lady. well any way shes an amazing carmen!!!

@fabiesque Totally agree with you an over rated dancer. He has a gorgeous body, but that's not all you need to be considered a star.
