Yep, very lucky indeed, but, flying hang gliders we get this lucky pretty often. This was in the Hunter Valley, in New South Wales. I've flown wing-tip to wing-tip with wedgies and White Breasted Sea Eagles. Every now and then, the wedgies get territorial, and ask you to move along, but mostly, for me at least, they just share the air with you.

Beautiful~~ you were very lucky to see a Wedge-tailed Eagle flying so close by(-: BTW, where was this - somewhere in Victoria?
