Having the Cops keep coming around asking for ID is just the first step in control. Soon more of your rights will be diluted. Mostafa Tabatabainejad understood this and that is why he resisted! Please support him and others like him who stand-up! Can you hear me U C L A ? Had enough bad public relations yet? $220,000 was given to this man because YOUR Police force abused this student in the library. The library! C'mon, the library! REALLY?
-
@ccr5cxcr4 finally some the smartest remark about this stupid shyt
-
The police should have opened fire on the idiot hippies.....not like they are real people they LOVE bin laden
-
this UCLA will go down the drain because of idiots like these.
-
His ethnicity and religion are irrelevant. What is relevant is that the longstanding, uncontroversial rule of the library was that ID's are checked at the time at which the library closes for the public, and only students with ID's are allowed to remain.
It was he, who tried to play the race card, claiming he was being singled out. It was bullshit then, and it is bullshit now.
-
only dickheads who are racist, or suffering from some kind of mental malignment and personal insecurities bring up their ethnicity or religion at an academic institution.
w/e i'll call a spade a spade, if the truth hurts those sensitized by political correctness, tough.
-
powerline24...you could have just said 'students you do have rights'.
why bring up the pointless segregation agenda by listing ethnicity/religious backgrounds ?
a student is a student - fuck his religion or ethnic background, they're all equals and are in pursuit of academic brilliance.
student 1: hi there, im a jewish student ! are you a jewish student sir ?
student 2: why no, im an ISLAMIC student !
student1: oh i see ! how wonderful.
student 3: hey there im a caucasian student !

Protesting the inhumane treatment of a fellow human being and student is lunacy?
-
but protesting @ anything and everything that you 'feel' like protesting about is lunacy of the grandest levels, TriaMaxwell.
-
i'm beginning to get 'annoyed' with this whole chapter about some kid who got tazed and how a bunch of oppertunists who wanted to scream and rant made a meal of it without understanding the situation.
why didn't these girls do something productive like a mass gathering to protest against the harsh treatment of women in Afghanistan ?
or the abomination that is the 'Saudi Human Rights' record ?
this on the other hand was a complete fucking waste of time end of.
A protest of blatant abuse of power is in order.

no you obviously don't know what you're talking about. The guy was on the floor with cuffs and they continued to taser him. In the UK these officers would would be held accountable to an open public enquiry.
