How to perform basic maintenance on a M4 AEG Airsoft Rifle. Covers tightening the stock and barrel we well as field stripping to clean the barrel or remove a jammed BB. Demonstrated on an ECHO 1 Stag Arms MOD4.

My hand guards are a little wobbly what should I do?

@DGrabowski100 Sometimes handgaurds just are so there really isn't that much you can do to correct it short of sticking something in around them to shim them together. Depending on the rifle, if it has a two piece barrel you can try loosening the set screws which hold the barrel in place and push the barrel in a little further to make the handguards fit tighter.

yea about that body pine you have to pop out, i have a different series of an m4 its the m4 3181 from hobbytron i know im stupid for buyin there crap but could you help me out plz

@presidentdoobie If I remember correctly that rifle is not TM spec and does not come apart the same way. I'm pretty sure the body is held together with screws so you would not be able to field strip it. Sorry, we don't carry that rifle so I really can't but of much help.

Thanks its not that bad just wondering if there was a way to tighten it. Nothing really noticable

it may be that you motor is not in contact with your gears, or that your motow is up to much and it is putting so much pressure on the gears that they dont move. take a flat head screwdriver and adjust the motor by turning the screw under the motor grip until it shoots fine.

its the motor height, take a flat head screw driver and adjust the motor height be turning the screw below your motor grip until your m4 makes the correct sound.

Help please.

I have an m16 and it is an a1 but I don't think that will matter.

On the front of the gun the pin that you put in to make sure the barrel and top of the gun and rail doesn't slide off, will easily pop out when fired and even held

It is very loose and just slides could someone tell me what I need to do? Much appreciated.

i have a cybergun m4 full metal and i was wondering why doesnt my gun only half come apart like your video. I have to use alan keys and then push out the pin and iv tried ta take it apart but no luck :( elp?

@shortyusa i have a m4 and i was wondering if any of the parts need to bee oiled. also my motor came out of alignment and i fixed it using the adjustment screw but im not sure if i got it exactly in place. can i strip or damage something inside?

@pantolamon try redoing your process many blowback aeg's are based upon a pneumatic blowbacksystem which uses forced air. Im guessing that when you put the top reciever back onto the bottom the charging handle popped out of place, also your top recieve is most likely been put on wrong, thus preventing your bolt to slide forward.
