Wayfaring Stranger is a traditional, spiritual, folk song that we have always loved to play. Many renditions and arrangements of this haunting beautiful song of unknown origin have been recorded by performers worldwide. Cindy Evans plays guitar while singing the lyrics that will take you through the journey of lifes trails and tribulations to heavens home in the afterlife. Our long-time good friend Mo Lordi from Ellwood City, Pa. plays rhythm, sings the harmony and masterfully digs out a lead from his acoustic guitar. Vic Bartolomeo adds a bluegrass jazz fiddle to complete our version of Wayfaring Stranger.
Filming was done on 4th of July weekend 2009 before our late evening jam session with friends and family. Special thanks to R.J. Dunn for all his technical digital skills, advice and expertises.
