I agree. We need to address the issues that have led us here in the first place. Government accountability, poverty, xenophobia, racial/ethnic/religious divides. These issues will all have to be dealt with for us to confront the problem of the climate and our energy needs vs. pollution.

Ah, Meghan, you speak to one of the issues that I am most concerned about, but I think it's not holistic enough to combat the root issues. If we don't change the values that led us to the behaviors that created this climate change, we'll never be able to stop it.
