Buffett's wife died in 2004. It is true that Buffett remained married to his wife for decades, but theirs was a very unconventional relationship. He and his wife saw little of each other and had lived separately since the mid-70's. He had a female travelling companion for many years, whom he married after his first wife's death.

Don't let things like facts get in the way of a good story.

Warren Buffett is saying that the economic message is "muddled" because people are using scare-tactics at the same time that Obama is trying to provide the solution.

Buffett isn't saying Obama is muddling the message, he's saying Obama's message is being muddled by right-wingers who are trying to scare the American public with all the lies and name-calling.

Why do people insist on twisting Warren Buffett's words to make people think he doesn't support the President?

the reason buffet isn't in charge of the economy is because warren buffet loves capitalism and (even though he's a big liberal) would never be the face of someone that wants to punish capitalism. obama wants bunglers like geithner in there with no answers and double-talk to keep the chaos going so he (obama) can implement the liberal agenda. keeping the job loss rate high, hearings about bonuses, etc are a smokescreen to keep us distracted.
