I was just talking to my brother about a week ago how I thought 1983 was the best year for metal. Just after punk and just before hair metal it was like the fucking stars aligned in 1983!!! I wish there was some new blood out there that would embrace this style, but most of the bands pretending to be inspired by 80's metal always end up playing Poison or some shit like that. We don't want a Parody hair metal band, we want a new band that embraces this heavy melodic style!

Holy fuck, the lineup on this festival was epic!! Def Leppard, Krokus, Michael Schenker Group, Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot, Judas Priest and the Scorpions! We will NEVER see such a great bunch of musicians on the same stage again!
