ey how the hell u can make an engine to rev up to 11000 or less.just adding 2 more counterweights?and perfect balance,new blueprint,high lift/angle cam,stroked cranskshaft,special tubing injection?etcetc?thats what i see but is that simple?

Nice driving of one of the GREAT cars of the sixties (yeah, I know it's a BC!). AC handling ate Maseratis, and the Lampredi engine was basically a Ferrari 4.
Good to see it teaching some manners to those Ferrari upstarts!

Didn't mean to suggest the motor couldn't cope. Sounds good and strong. Was just curious as to whether or not you could have gained a bit more speed in some of those sections by hitting a higher gear.
Then again, you know Wakefield, I've never been and it does look tight.
Anyway, great car!

motor was built to withstand the revs being used. With Wakefield being as tight as it is we only use 3-4th gears.
