This is a Kinetic Typography Animation I made with audio from the last minute and a half of Ron Paul's fair-well speech to congress on November 14 2012. As many of his speeches go, it made a lot of common sense, but he delivers it with a bit of nutty-professor.

However Ron Paul isn't admired for his smooth speeches, rather he is admired for his unrelenting push for a freer America where people have opportunity to work hard and prosper, unimpeded by envious intolerant interlopers and busybodies in government.

I thought this animated visual might help this message be better understood and shed some light on this particular excerpt from his speech.

I am an animator and I'd like this animation to do two things:
1 - It is a small sample of my art animation talent; I am a freelance artist seeking work.
2 - I want Ron Paul or his people to see this and we'll cross that bridge once we get there.

Thank you
Link to this video on Facebook etc and as Ron Paul said, "Spread it across the land"

Software-
Adobe Flash and After Effects and Maxon Cinema 4D

Music- Herbie Hancock Head Hunters

I disagree that the poor are envious of the rich, for the sake of their money. They are envious of the rich because of their power to influence government in their own favor, which in turn makes them richer. If we start at the point the first European set foot on the Americas, and changed the mentality of the newcomer to one of cooperation instead of conqueror, I suspect there would be fewer poor people. Fewer "envious" people

I believe when Ron Paul made this address to congress, he was directing the message at the politicians that serve their own rich interests. They promise a lot of things with the banner of equality, and then do the opposite.

Why would someone downvote this video? One of the best speech's of all time. Ron Paul is a legend and a American hero.

one of two reasons, they are more political than reasonable, or it was an accident while trying to click the like button (maybe they were over excited to see such a snazzy animation about Doc Paul ;P )

    Nice job. A few nits:

At :54 he says "motivates MANY to legislate", not "motivates MEN to legislate".

At 1:05 he says "both are authoritarians", not "both are authoritarian".

At 1:06 "neither" is misspelled as "niether".

At 1:08 he says "voluntarism" not "volunteerism".

Thanks. As much as I like Ron Paul, the main reason this was made because I wanted to make the animation using a particular technique.

I took the advise and made the changes for my website version. My poor spelling may fly here in the streets of youtube, but I can't potential clients see that on my site.
