Did US officials know about Georgia's plans to attack its breakaway region? The issue deserves a special hearing in the US Congress, according to American political commentator Pat Buchanan.
We have to admit RT is the only source of the ultimate truth. You wanna know who started the war? - Look no further, ask RT. RT practices the same old trick again. A western-born "journalist" (in quote marks) interviews a Western "authority." Bingo! Credibility is established. What follows next, doesn't matter. Buchanan couldov presented the case that 2x2=5. As for Anissa Naouai, she open her mind & her legs to whoever pays more. She calls it being roving. It's prostitution in reality.
It stands to reason that if that had been Georgia’s aim, it would have much preferred to have their combat-tested, well-trained battalions in Georgia instead of watching their country get trampled from TV screens in Mesopotamia.
The bulk of Georgia’s best-trained, equipped, and most experienced troops weren’t even in Georgia during the war. Georgia had 2,000 soldiers deployed in Iraq, and they didn’t even have a chance to fire a shot in the conflict. By the time all these forces were withdrawn to Georgia, the war had ended. The absence of Georgia’s best troops has also been cited as being one of the clearest signs that Tbilisi did not have a premeditated intention to get into a war,
"In Russia we only had two TV channels. Channel One was propaganda. Channel Two consisted of a KGB officer telling you: Turn back at once to Channel One."
@alieu156 ohh, really? could you tell me why would a georgian solider ATTACK GEORGIAN PEOPLE?
There is a simple explanation for this event: Back in 08, i was in georgia when the war started, and the fact is that, when russian troops got tired of slaughtering georgian AND ossetian population, they started robbing georgian military camps, and thus they also took georgian uniforms (plus anything valuable they could find), its a fact, i was there to see it :)
