Thank you so much for posting this! I had never even thought about making 2 ponies and putting them together! My daughter's hair is also short so I believe this will work well. The only issue I have is our ballet troop says no bangs! So now I have to figure that out... might you have any tips? Also, when I was in the Marines, we used socks to make our hair look this way... do you think that would be okay? Or have you ever heard of the sock trick?

Hi there. For the bang issue : Comb your bangs to the side, apply gel and twist. Take the twist and secure it with a bobby pin to the side. It will look super cute! Continue on with your bun. Remember use lots of gel.. :) Good luck.

Yes, it will work for curly hair but you might need to straighten it when a flat iron first. Good luck.
