dump truck fun

12 yards of gravel stuck in my front yard.
An F word or two if you have young ones turn the sound off.
I only lived in the house for a month and did not know what the ground was like. The driver parked on the street and we walked the drive way. He thought he could do it, his choice to drive in. I never bitched to the driver about getting stuck. They gave me the 12 yards in the second truck for free. I spread it by hand, not them. Because they gave me the second truck for free I've gone back to them when ever I needed more gravel, over 20 times now.

@saz2686tube You can definitely lift it a little and spread it as you go, either forward, or backward. You have to be careful though, if it goes down on one side with the box up it is not good. But it's just a single truck, not like he's got a transfer box in there. Just be ready to drop the box down. Of course, getting stuck happens unless you stay on solid ground all the time. This isn't going to be much of a driveway with that little crush rock on top of the dirt like that though.

The commentary was just saying it was fun ! he didnt say the truck drivers did anything wrong !!!!! of course he decided he wanted the gravel because the ground was too wet to WALK ON! Over time the drainage installed when the house was built becomes blocked up, leading to soggy ground...
